Business Spotlight: Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association

Sail Away at LWSA! 

Stephanie Inglis had the opportunity to talk with Amy Tripp from the Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association about this hidden gem in Gilford, NH. The program teaches youth to sail, as well as many life skills that they will use in the future! With classes for beginners, intermediates, and advanced sailors; it is never too late to learn a new skill! The LWSA has been supported by many local businesses, including Fay's Boat Yard, that helped them be able to bring in an abundance of boats and a home base for the future sailors! 

The LWSA has been growing to be able to give scholarships so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the lake. They will be hosting a Lobster Bake on August 3rd to raise money so more children can enjoy sailing!
