Alton

It seems the inventory is low compared to last year. Last month only 8 new properties hit the market in Alton compared to the 20 the same month but the year prior. All of the numbers are much lower than last year, only 7 properties closed compared to 17 the year before. Even the average sales price is lower. 

The one category in which it is a good thing to have a lower number is in regards to the average days on market (DOM) and in this case, Alton's DOM average went down 7 days!

Center Harbor

Center Harbor had some of the lowest numbers in comparison to the other towns in the Lakes Region. But with that being said, it is a much smaller town and July's stats are better this year than compared to the year prior! Only one property sold in Center Harbor last month, and four new properties hit the market. The average DOM from July 2018 to July 2019 went down 66 days, that's amazing!

Gilford

Gilford had the 2nd highest amount of listings go under agreement in July and the 2nd highest amount of new listings hit the market. 11 properties closed last month as well.

Laconia

Laconia knocks it out of the park each month. Being one of the larger areas in the Lakes Region, it's easy to rank in the top performing towns. In July, Laconia had the most properties go under agreement and the most new listings hit the market out of all the towns surrounding Lake Winnipesaukee.

Meredith

Meredith had a very good month in July as well. Last month, Meredith had the highest amount of listings close, 3rd highest amount of listings to go under agreement and 3 highest amount of new properties hit the market. 

We are happy to have had the opportunity to represent both the buyers and sellers of a Meredith property to close last month. Located at 48 Little Rd in Meredith, this listing closed for over $4 million! ⬇️


Moultonborough

Moultonborough had the 2nd highest amount of properties close last month. Of the 16 listings to close, our team at Lake Life Realty was involved in FIVE of them! 

We also currently have FOUR listings in Moultonborough, all listed for over $1.5. 😍
